Abstract:It is the updated collection of geometries of forest areas sorted by typology within the territory of Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. Mostly these are areas occupied by forests as defined by applicable forestry regional law (n.9/2007). Geometries are from two different geo-databases: "Tipi Forestali 1998" (forest types 1998), updated to 2010 and "Completamento del GIS dei Tipi forestali del Friuli Venezia Giulia" (Completion of GIS forestal types of FVG) made in 2011 and finally validated in 2013.
